Education

I received my B.S. in Math Major at James Madison University and my Master of Education in Secondary Education to teach math at Marymount University. This is my fifth year as a high school math teacher in Prince William County. I have taught Algebra 1 Part 1, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, IB Math SL and Pre-DP Algebra 2.

Experience

I previously have tutored in AB calculus, college algebra, Algebra 2, Algebra 1, geometry and SAT math. I have always loved tutoring because I love helping students have that "light-bulb" moment where they understand a math concept. I have a B.S. in mathematics, as well as an M.Ed. in Math Education.

In addition to tutoring I love to read. I am a huge Harry Potter fan, and I also love to read any books my students recommend to me. I also love to be outside and love my summers and going to the beach. I am married and just had a baby in November 2018. I love being outdoors and have just started training for my 5th half marathon.
